Sunlight Performance is a performative installation designed on the path of the sun on a wall.

It is a series of identical modules that independently react to light by simply moving pieces of paper.

Each module features a light sensor as input and a motor as output. Those signals are linked through independent analog circuit boards that have been designed so that when a light is pointed at the sensor, the motor rotates a rod on which paper cuts can be placed.

Sunlight Performance was designed and build in March 2018 at the Interactive Architecture Lab, M.Arch Design for Performance and Interaction at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.
